Contact: privacy@izah.ai.</p> <h2>What we process and why</h2> <p>When you upload a document or paste text, we process it for one purpose: to produce the explanation you requested. Documents can contain personal data — names, addresses, ID numbers — and sometimes special-category data (for example a court notice may reveal a criminal charge, a health matter or a family dispute). We process such data only with your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box before upload.</p> <h2>How the processing works</h2> <p>Your file is handled in memory on our servers (Render, Frankfurt, Germany). We read it with software running on our own server to locate Turkish ID numbers (TC kimlik no), phone numbers, e-mail addresses and card numbers, and we black those out. The redacted pages and the redacted text are then sent to our AI provider (Anthropic PBC, USA) to produce the explanation. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. The original file is discarded when the explanation is ready; it is never written to disk or kept.</p> <h2>What we keep</h2> <p>We keep the explanation (the report) so that you can open it by its link, and the order record (language, time, payment reference, e-mail if you gave one, and a hashed IP address for abuse prevention). You can delete the report at any time with the "Delete this report" button; deletion removes the report text and your e-mail. Reports that are not deleted are removed automatically after 90 days. Lawyer-referral requests are kept until handled and then for 12 months.</p> <h2>Transfers abroad</h2> <p>Our servers are in Germany and our AI provider is in the USA. These transfers rest on your explicit consent under Article 9 of Law 6698, and on standard data-protection contracts with each provider.</p> <h2>Your rights</h2> <p>Under Article 11 of Law 6698 you may ask what data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, and object to processing. Write to privacy@izah.ai; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).</p> <h2>Not legal advice</h2> <p>İzah explains what a document says.
